...On that note Battler Ushiromiya has got to be one of the epic-est protagonists in any series ever. Even his fails are epic.

Imagine--for the past...what, three scenes? the hero's down and out, he's given up and submitted to the witch (On a completely different note, I love how much detail Beato gives to the way she wants Battler to submit. "YOU'LL BE NAKED AND LICKING MY SHOES, AND YOU'LL BE MY FAVORITE TOY I'LL LOVE YOU SO MUCH. MMMM INNUENDO" also dog-collar and a chain hurrhurr we know who ms. dominatrix is), and his poor auntie is being tormented, forced to drink wine made from her own brother's blood (regardless of how much of a dick he was, no one would want to drink their own family members' blood(least I wouldn't :U ymmv). Unless they were vampies.), watching her own daughter be taken away to be baked into dessert, when, suddenly...

BAM! Her head is planted by force right into the table, and who's standing there when she poofs into pretty golden BoD(Butterflies of Death)? You guessed it, Battler~

If he wasn't epic enough already, he gets a kickass "I'M GONNA PROVE YOU WRONG" theme in Dread of the Grave and a Phoenix Wright pose with the pointing, not to mention various catchphrases. ("REPEAT IT IN RED!" is by far the coolest, because usually it means Beatrice is screwed. It also provides opportunity for great lulz if Beato actually DOES repeat it in red.)
